December 18th.

It's kind of fun having two anniversaries. More chances to celebrate, right? In April we will celebrate our original anniversary (seven years). This past Sunday Christian and I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary, which sounds super fancy and official. It was an absolutely perfect day.

I could go on and on about Christian (if you know me personally I'm sure I have on more than one occasion). I could also go on and on about marrying him and our wedding day and every moment in my life that led up to that moment. All I will say is that every day when I wake up, I love him more than I did the day before. I fear that eventually my heart might explode.

Here are some of my very favorite photos from our wedding day (one whole year ago?!).
Thank you again, as always, to my favorite Arizona photographers Stacie and Geoff Lang (Lang Photographers) who took our engagement and wedding photos and have since photographed both family and friends of mine (they did anniversary photos for my sister and Kyle and will most likely photograph their wedding). We love you Langs and claim you as our personal photographers. :D [warning: super duper photo heavy]

You made it to the end! If you were a part of our day (which you very likely were), THANK YOU. It was amazing.

We're looking forward to what the next year will bring.

I better put my planning hat back on...

...BECAUSE MY BABY SISTER IS GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!!

I have other things to tell everyone about like my trip to Georgetown, my next set of classes, Christian finishing his last final for the semester, but HONESTLY.

:D

I love Kyle so much and he is an amazing partner to my sister.

We love you guys so much and are so proud of you both.

Our Charlie Brown tree.

And by Charlie Brown tree I mean the most gigantic tree that looks entirely out of place in our living room. Good thing our little Civic is a champion and can handle anything any stinky SUV can.

We got it set up in no time at all and got to work. While doing so it was impossible not to think about where we were exactly a year ago, decorating our first tree together and finalizing wedding plans (we were 18 days away!). I can't believe how fast this first year has gone.

Grown up dinner! Mister's contribution on the left, mine on the right.

At my bridal shower last November, my mom, sister, and dear friend/bridesmaid Sarah had everyone bring us a Christmas ornament for our first tree. It was such a good idea and we'd have a super naked tree without them. We also have a few of mine that I took from home and one very special ornament that my brother insisted that we have: his pee-wee football championship ornament.

When we finished up, we decided to watch some Christmas movies and have a sleep over next to our masterpiece. It was perfect.

I leave for DC in a few days to take another exam and meet my classmates for the first time (in person, that is). I'm SO excited/nervous/afraid of the cold weather. I'll take lots of pictures (per usual). Now, off to be a busy bee. My flight leaves early afternoon tomorrow and I have so much to do.

Hope everyone is enjoying the holidays as much as we are.

The littlest wildcat.

Today we went to the last college football game of the season (sad face). It was the perfect addition to our holiday weekend and was especially awesome because the Tucson Youth Football cheerleaders (along with the U of A cheerleaders) did a performance at half time! My cousin Honor got to rock it out on the big field like a boss and she did such a great job. My grandparents have had season tickets since forever and we tailgate at the same spot every year. Wildcats came away with the win (the perfect end to the season) and Honor had her very serious face on during the entire performance. [Super photo heavy...as usual...]

We're decorating the Christmas tree tonight and enjoying our last day in Tucson tomorrow (it went by too fast!!!). Last year on Thanksgiving, Christian was still an MS1 and was studying for his anatomy class like a crazy man. He spent the entire weekend (after meals and food coma) studying and even brought a skull model to town with us. This weekend was the complete opposite, both of us in school-free bliss. It has been the absolute best.

I hope everyone else is enjoying the extended weekend. Back to the grind in a few days....
